Ilia Eloshvili

Minister of Energy, Georgia

Ilia Eloshvili has been Minister of Energy of Georgia since July 2017. He has been working at the Ministry of Energy of Georgia on different positions as Minister of Energy of Georgia and Deputy Minister of Energy of Georgia during 2012-2017. Before this, Ilia Eloshvili has worked as Deputy Chief of the Party of USAID funded project - Tetra Tech Inc in 2011-2012 years. Also, he’d been working as Technical Director of New Energy Ltd in 2010-2011, as Deputy CEO of Millennium Challenge Georgia Fund (MCG) in 2008-2010, as General  Director of "Wissol Gas Distribution company" LTD in 2008. He had been also Director of Millennium Challenge Georgia Fund’s Georgian Energy Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project in 2006-2007 and West Region Director of United Energy Distribution Company/PA Consulting Group, which had been awarded in the International Platinum and Gold nominations for the transform of the electricity distribution company state-owned by the Republic of Georgia in 2006. He has Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Utrecht Business School and Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Law from Georgian Technical University.
