28 years of experience in the hydrocarbons sector (oil and gas) performed within the private and public sector, specifically in REPSOL (international, refining, strategic planning), National Energy Commission (oil & biofuels), IEA (delegate), SEQ (Chairman) and CORES (Board of Directors).

Currently, Chairman of the Spanish Strategic Petroleum Reserves Corporation (CORES), Chairman of the Standing Group on Emergency Questions (SEQ) of the International Energy Agency, Chairman of the World Petroleum Council (WPC) Spanish Committee, Chairman of the Committee of Programmes (CPC) of the WPC, Vice President Programme of the Executive Committee of the WPC and also Member of the Steering Committee and the Board of Directors of Enerclub (Club Español de la Energía)

Formerly, Advocacy Business Director in the Repsol Group in Spain and Member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Petroleum Industry Association (AOP), Petroleum and Biofuels Director of the National Energy Commission (CNE) and Spanish Certification Biofuel Entity and Member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Stockholding Corporation (CORES).

Three degrees including a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Master of Business Administration and Master of International Business Administration.

Professor specialized in economics and energy utilities regulation at the Club Español de la Energía, CIRCE Foundation and International Menendez Pelayo University, among others.

Wide experience as moderator and lecturer in a multitude of international forums, standing out among them those organized by the European Commission (cooperation programmes), the International Energy Agency (workshops and round tables), the USA Department of Energy (Petrostocks conference), ARIAE, ACOMES, and other worldclass Institutions.

Additionally, also collaborates with various publications in the field of energy and participates as a facilitator in international meetings and simulation of emergency exercises organized by the IEA
